For the remix, Andrew re-painted the extracted material from „Always Like This“ by hand, while lichterloh digitally arranged it to a new environment and brought the scene to life. In this process some objects from the original were retained, others have been added as additional elements. The video alternates between the original and the new remix, with each object representing the different facets of the music.
For the original “ALWAYS LIKE THIS“ video, we have digitally extracted structural elements from pictures of well-known painters and reassembled them in a new composition. By animating these objects we breathe life into this rigid world and change a static scene into an organic universe.
